Send the ministers an email

Six ministries have a stake in what happens to Rady Creek, and none of them has met the people who use it. The email below is already written. Read it, press Send, add your name in your own mail app, and it goes from your address — not ours.

Subject: Bring Rady Creek Stakeholders to the Table Before Contract Award

Ministers,

Bidding on the Rady Creek deactivation contract closes September 24 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific. Before a contract is awarded and irreversible work begins, I am asking your ministries to join an urgent cross-ministry meeting with Amber Lane, Executive Director of the BC Snowmobile Federation, and Colin T. Stuart, Vancouver Island Representative of the Four Wheel Drive Association of BC.

Rady Creek affects outdoor recreation, tourism, environmental stewardship, rural communities, jobs and economic growth, and mineral access. Amber and Colin are ready to discuss responsible, practical solutions.

Please confirm whether your ministry will participate and help bring these stakeholders to the table.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

If pressing Send does nothing, your browser may not have an email app attached — common on phones with webmail only. Use Copy the text and Copy the addresses, then paste both into Gmail, Outlook or whatever you use.

Change the wording if you want to. A letter in your own words carries more weight than a hundred identical ones. The two things worth keeping are the ask — a meeting before a contract is awarded — and the two names, because they are the people ready to sit down.
